Chris Miller
I started down the DBA trail about 10 years ago and was a software developer for about 10 years before that. I started off as an accidental DBA, but become more intentional through a series of boot camps put on, for free, by a SQL Server MVP. That MVP gave us a gift, provided an incredible boost to my career, and made me realize that I could be a DBA. It would involve a lot of learning and practice, but I knew there were plenty of other folks willing to help, and lots of learning resources on the web.
Since going through those boot camps, I’ve wanted to do something to pay forward the gift I was given.
